Becane is great variety, productive and with delicious flavor. The tree is a slow grower in general, but it is productive and ripen fruit in a short window, typically earl August to mid-September. The fig has an amazing taste; it is a bit fruity with some light peach-like tones. The texture is juicy. As the season progresses, I noticed that the figs ripen with a slightly different flavor, they turn more complex and less fruity (some had a light berry taste). A very special fig for sure.
