Black Algiers Cutting

This variety originates from Algeria, it is known for its deep red interior, sticking color, and taste. Black Algiers figs are excellent. The figs have a rich fig taste, one that is unique and distinctive. The taste resembles a fig preserve for its concentrated flavor. The pulp is mildly sweet and dense in texture. The tree is a very vigorous grower and very productive. This variety produces two crops, a breba crop of good quality, and a main crop that starts to ripen in mid-August until late October. I recommend this variety for its unique texture, color, and sticking interior.
