Brianzolo Rosso Cutting

Let me start by saying that this fig is very unique and has a beautiful coloration, bronze hue. The flesh is white with slight amber. The flavor is sweet, with hints of sugar and flower. The flavor is similar to Belmont's Beauty floral tone (the latter is a very different variety altogether, just noting the similarity in flavor). The tree is a good grower and average producer. The figs ripen mid to late in the season. In general, it is a variety that shines on its own merits, I would recommend it if you want to expand your collection to include some other unique flavors aside from the most popular (berry, honey, molasses, and figgy tones).
