This is an exceptional variety, and it is a must for any person looking to own more than one variety. The flavor of the fig changes during the season, figs that ripen under sunny and dry conditions are very sweet and have a strong berry taste. Later figs keep their sweetness, but the tones become fruitier or floral. The birds and critters do not disturb them as they remain light green when ripe. The ripening period if mid to late. The figs appear resistant to splitting even under heavy rain. This is a variety on my top five list due to its unique flavor profile and productivity.
