LSU Tiger is a uniquely colored variety. The figs have a beautiful blush color when beginning to ripen, slowly multiple faint stripes start to form. LSU tiger has a sweet pulp with figgy taste. The quality of the figs is great, and the ripening period is extended with figs beginning to ripen in mid-August until mid-October. This is one of my favorite LSU varieties.
