Rigato del Salento is an Italian bifera variety from Pomona Gardens documented and associated to Paolo Belloni. The variety produced beautiful, variegated figs. It is among the earliest variegated types. The taste of the figs is delicate with floral and honey tones. The plant produces an early breva crop, and a later main crop. Both crops have excellent taste. The figs are very high quality, numerous, and uniquely delicate in flavor.
