White Mittica Plant
White Mittica is a variety discovered by Bill Lauris from Off the Beaten Path Nursery. These are medium to large green figs with red/amber interior. It is a very productive variety with excellent flavor. I really enjoy these figs; they are like pockets filled with sweet fig jam, very soft and syrupy. The ripening period is extended, starting in late July and ending in Mid-September. The tree is very consistent, so the figs have a similar flavor during the growing season. I recommend this fig as solid performer, if you want a reliable and delicious fig, this variety is for you.
